Library haul! (Aug. 27)

I have news! First, I am employed for another season at the place I was employed at before. Yay! I start next week.

Second, I went to the library yesterday and got a heap of books! See:

  • The She-Hulk Diaries by Marta Acosta. I LOVE She-Hulk! I’m hoping this’ll sort of be like the comics, only…more text-y?
  • The Wedding Girl by Madeleine Wickham and Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella. I haven’t read a Kinsella/Wickham book in a while, and they’re fun to read.
  • The Killing Moon by N.K. Jemisin. I still need to finish the Inheritance trilogy (I’ve only read the first book) but I found this on the shelf and grabbed it.
  • Death at the Chateau Bremont by M.L. Longworth. French detective? idk, I liked the cover.
  • Crooked House by Agatha Christie. Not a series book! Should go well, since at the moment I hate Poirot and Miss Marple is so-so.
  • The Manual of Detection by Jedediah Berry. Won over by the cover.
  • Mercury by Hope Larson. Time travel or something!
  • Artichoke Tales by Megan Kelso. It looked cute and the author’s won awards I think.
  • Snuff by Terry Pratchett and Thud by Terry Pratchett. Rereads, because I can.
  • Have you gotten anything from the library lately?

Love the library :) I REALLY need to read that Jemisin book, I’ve had it for ages and still haven’t started it. And Artichoke Tales looks really good!
