Bloggiesta GO!

Bloggiesta 2009 I’m home from work, which means I can finally start my Bloggiesta! I have some goals for this weekend, though honestly– I’m more expecting to stuff myself on the Southern Vampire Mysteries than anything else. (*cough*)

I do have some goals! My main priority will be writing reviews, but I’ll be working on other stuff, too.

Here’s the books I need to review as of today:

096: The Ink Drinker – Eric Sanvoisin [rating: 3/5]
097: The Anybodies – N.E. Bode [rating: 4.5/5]
099: The Other Side of the Mountain – Jean Craighead George [rating: 3.5/5]

109. Magic Kingdom For Sale– Sold! (Landover #1) – Terry Brooks [rating: 4/5]
110. Eon: Dragoneye Reborn (Eon #1) – Alison Goodman [rating: 3.5/5]
111. The Demon and the City (Detective Inspector Chen #2) – Liz Williams [rating: 4/5]

113. Eastern Standard Tribe – Cory Doctorow [rating: 3.5/5]
114. The Demon’s Lexicon – Sarah Rees Brennan [rating: 4/5]
115. Heroes of the Valley – Jonathan Stroud [rating: 4.5/5]
116. The Last Days – Scott Westerfeld [rating: 4/5]
117. The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl – Barry Lyga [rating: 3.5/5]
118. Flygirl – Sherri L. Smith [rating: 4/5]
119. Night of the Soul Stealer (The Last Apprentice #3) – Joseph Delaney [rating: 3.5/5]
120. Watermelon – Marian Keyes [rating: 4/5]
121. Monster – Walter Dean Myers [rating: 4.5/5]
122. Where I’d Like to Be – Frances O’Roark Dowell [rating: 3.5/5]
123. The Buried Pyramid – Jane Lindskold [rating: 4/5]
124. Once Bitten, Twice Shy (Jaz Parks #1) – Jennifer Rardin [rating: 4/5]
125. Dead Until Dark (Southern Vampire Mysteries #1) – Charlaine Harris [rating: 4/5]

That’s 28 total (good gravy). My goal is to do 10 reviews, but if I can do 20 I’m buying myself a fancy chocolate bar.

I also want to fix up my About Me and Contact pages, my sidebar, and maybe even get a new blog template in place. Also maybe spruce up my review format?

Plus! I want to write a few non-review posts to liven things up. I’ve got a few good ideas, luckily; I just have to write them. Oh, and set up a few giveaways as well, especially since the YA Book Carnival is coming up on Sunday.

  1. Wow, that is a lot of books. Good luck!

I spent most of my day at work sighing about how I wasn’t blogging yet. I’m so glad to be home and working on stuff. I did two reviews and now I’m going to the mini challenge to clean up my Google Reader. I’m so far behind…
