First, read this: 8 Things Every Blogging Writer Should Know @ Writer’s Digest
My mom sent me this link the other day (thanks, mom!) and I think a lot of it applies to book bloggers as well as freelance ones. The thing I have the toughest time with is #1: coming up with a good title. I think I’ve come up with three really EXCELLENT titles in the 4+ years I’ve been blogging, which is kinda depressing. What I need to do is spend some time brainstorming title ideas BEFORE I post something, instead of just slapping it on at the end like a dead fish.
What blogging thing gives YOU the most trouble?

I JUST finished Julie & Julia last night (fluffy and entertaining!) and haven’t yet started a new book as of writing this post, but it’ll probably be Monsters of Men. Because I haven’t read it yet this month and I said I would! I actually did read the first four pages or so last week, and I realized some things.
1. I can’t really remember specific details of wtf happened in the last two books, but I think I remember enough to get through okay. Anyway, I’m NOT rereading them! So there.
2. MoM is a HUGE FRICKIN’ book. Holy crap.
3. The formatting was different on my iPod (how I read the first two books) than it is on my Kindle (how I’m reading the third book). Like, Viola and Todd have different FONTS. It’s kinda weird. Not sure if I like it. (Probably it looks better in print, I don’t know.)
What’re you reading this week?
