More boarding school books

It’s been five years since my last list of books set in boarding schools! Here’s some more I’ve found since then:

  1. New Girl by Paige Harbison
  2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
  3. A College of Magics by Caroline Stevermer
  4. The Magicians by Lev Grossman
  5. Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks
  6. Mike & Psmith – P.G. Wodehouse
  7. Miss Pym Disposes by Josephine Tey
  8. Fighting Gravity by Leah Petersen (the rare scifi boarding school)

Do you have any favorite boarding school books? I’m pretty sure that if I’d gone to one when I was a kid I wouldn’t be as interested to read about them now as an adult. But here we are! Maybe I’ll get to work in one as a librarian some day.

  1. For as much as I LOVE boarding school books (and I doooo), I can definitely say I am delighted I didn’t go to a boarding school myself. Sounds hideously claustrophobic, and it sounds like there’d be no down time ever. This is fine in a book but would be challenging to my introvert self.

    Love these list additions!
