My BEA schedule– and some links to help you build yours!

I think I’ve got my schedule for Book Expo America mostly figured out! It probably needs some more tweaking, and I KNOW I’ll be adding stuff to it whenever I read the daily newsletter thing, but for now: here it is. No way am I going to make EVERY SINGLE THING on my list, of course, but I always put everything that interests me, just in case. It’s good to be flexible! Sometimes you don’t want to stand in a two-hour line, y’know? And with a comprehensive list you have other options of stuff to go see/do!

my paper schedule will be highlighted and colorful and pretty!
my physical schedule will be highlighted and colorful and pretty!

Have you finalized your schedule, yet? I built mine mostly using the BEA show planner thing, but there are several publishers (and authors) who have posted their own info of events that aren’t in the planner yet. I’ve been keeping a list of various info sources over at my Tumblr, so go check that out if you’re curious.

Only a couple days left ’til BEA starts! Yay! If any of you want to meet up during (or after!) BEA, let me know! I’ll probably be too pooped to do any major sight-seeing/walking around after each day at the Javits, but I’d be happy to go to Starbucks or Pinkberry or something. Just let me know, either through email or Twitter!

  1. I think having a planner for BEA is a fantastic idea! I know there’s so much that bloggers want to see and get! 🙂 I’m not going but have fun and let us know all about it.

  2. So jealous you get to go to BEA! I’m not going, so I don’t need a schedule, but still. I’m sure you’ll have tons of fun there, and that schedule’s looking awesome. Hope you’ll get to follow it, because if there’s one thing I know about myself, it’s that I don’t follow schedules very well. 😉

    1. Usually I overplan so much I end up ignoring most of my schedule, lol! But I like having it all down somewhere so I at least know my options for stuff.
