REVIEW: The Lantern Bearers by Rosemary Sutcliff

This is actually the fourth book in Rosemary Sutcliff’s Roman historical fiction series, but I didn’t realize that until after I had already read it (after first reading The Eagle of the Ninth). I spotted on the shelf at my campus library, and the cover was so intriguing I was sure I’d like the book. And I did! It just took me a little while to get to that point.
