Ballet and sisters and pre-WWII London! This book is full of things that make my heart go ping, not least of which is the characters and their adorableness. Theater Shoes by Noel Streatfeild

Whenever I feel sick or blue, I pick up a Noel Streatfeild book. Normally I start with Ballet Shoes, then move on to something else if needed.
